Lavender has a unique, floral fragrance. The first oil to add to any collection, Lavender is soothing and calming, providing relief from mild migraines and headaches and improving sleeplessness. Lavender essential oil is beneficial for relief of symptoms associated with menstrual cramps, nausea, colic, colds and flu, catarrh and congestion.

Its warming qualities may aid with pain associated with varicose veins and aching joints. Beneficial as a first aid treatment for mild skin inflammations and irritation including mild sunburn. Also helps the skin to retain its softness and suppleness. A handy insect repellent.
