Lemon has a sharp, penetrating aroma. It's very refreshing during long periods of work or study. Offers temporary relief from headaches. May ease digestive upsets such as bloating, nausea and constipation. Topically, has excellent antiseptic qualities that are useful in managing tinea, insect stings and bites, symptoms associated with corns, boils, mild acne and cold sores.

Lemon is of particular assistance for providing relief of upper respiratory congestion and symptoms of colds and bringing relief to swollen joints, aching legs linked to varicose veins and painful limbs. Useful as a cleanser for hair and skin.
